Ain't Nobody
(John Owens)

Words and Music by Marc Judd and Scott Reed
So many friends of mine always searchin for identity
So many look for grace in the promises of you and me
Seeking security in conditional humanity
Taking what they can get from a broken heart
That's asking for the same
But they will see that the love they find has strings attached
Their security in that worldly God has fallen through the cracks
Ain't nobody can save my soul
Ain't nobody that I know
Ain't nobody got nobody got nobody like my Jesus
Everybody looking for the one thing that will fill the empty place
A lonely face is there to greet them in the mirror everyday
Therapists and self-help books and pills are fine
But when you put them on the line
They're only bandages for hearts that have been crying
For the friend who heals the wounded heart
If you just start to bring the broken parts to Him
He'll bring you peace and joy again.
